Tracy has been an animal lover all of her life. She started her grooming journey at K9 clippers school of pet grooming, graduating in ‘95. She has worked at some of NOVA’s greatest grooming salons, gaining 26 years of experience throughout her career. Her passion for animals allowed her to gain from those salons and create The Polished Pooch in 2007. Since then she has learned that her passion is not only helping animals but her loyal and caring clients as well. Helping them achieve the look they envision whether it's showing proper coat upkeep or the perfect haircut. Tracy enjoys teaching and learning skills with our other groomers here at The Polished Pooch.

Olivia grew up with dogs and cats of her own since she was a child. Her love for animals got her involved in rescuing and fostering dogs from an early age. Her interest in grooming started after she adopted her two family dogs who would not let anyone else groom them except for her. Her passion for grooming was sparked when she helped her professional groomer friend give a haircut to their Schnauzer dog. The outcome of the look totally amazed her and she enjoyed the time working with her professional grooming friend. She decided to change her career after this experience and joined PDL Grooming School to obtain the professional skills she needed to be able to work with dogs. After she got her Certificate and started her professional career as a groomer, she has never been this satisfied and happy working with lovely dogs each day and transforming them to look great and shiny when they walk out.
